WEEKLY DEN MEETINGS (August~December 2010)
Page 3

During weekly den meetings, Cub Scouts work on rank advancement requirements, make crafts, play games, and/or take field trips.  Activities are planned by the Den Leaders and can vary widely from week to week.  But emphasis is always on learning in a FUN way.

Ms. Rodabaugh teaches a group of Webelos how to do some leatherworking.   Den Leader Tonya Gordon has the Bear Den busy working on a project.
Assistant Cubmaster Julia Brown sorts Pack tee-shirts; one of many tasks that go on behind the scenes to keep the Pack running smoothly. At this weekly meeting, the Webelos were working on their Showman Activity Pin and invited everyone to watch a skit they had prepared.
Webelos Den Leader Leo Heppler interviewed a scout about the tasks he performed every morning to get ready for school. The actors were Tyler (whose arms and hands are feet) and Adam (whose is behind the curtain and owns the arms we see).
Little Tyler had to wash his face, comb his hair, and drink his juice --- which he did pretty well.  But shaving proved to be a bit of a challenge!  The boys did a great job and everyone was roaring with laughter.
