FLAG SALE (May 22~24, 2009)

One of the ways we keep the cost of Cub Scouting affordable for all families is to raise money to run our program through fundraising.  One of our annual fundraising events is to sell small American Flags on Memorial Day weekend.  Local merchants have been very supportive and we really appreciate their willingness to permit us to sell outside their stores.

Hunter has a handful and is ready to sell.

Zack obviously takes the job of selling very seriously.

Adam worked a shift at a local gas station.   Does Kenneth ever NOT smile?

Josh sold flags to customers on their way out of Kroger. Calvin is ready to sell while Matt (in background) turns in a dollar and gets resupplied.
Brothers Jonathan and Cameron worked several shifts together. Troop 868 Boy Scout Drew helped out by covering an open shift at Sav-A-Lot.
Troop 868 Boy Scout Preston never misses a chance to sell anything!   Troop 868 Boy Scout Matt definitely had "the look" with his felt hat.
