WEEKEND
TENT CAMPING (August
12~14, 2011)
JELLYSTONE PARK near
Mammoth Cave
Pack 868's first
camping trip of the 2011-2012 program year was a weekend tent camping
trip to Jellystone Park near Mammoth Cave. The park featured a
water slide, a putt-putt golf course, and several other attractions to
keep the boys entertained. The group used canvas wall tents
borrowed from Boy Scout Troop 868. We had a good turnout and the
weather was wonderful ... sunny and clear, but not too hot. It was
a great end to summer vacation and a great a start to another fun year
of Cub Scouting in Pack 868!
