WEBELOS RESIDENT CAMP (July 16~19, 2009)

The Webelos Resident Camp program run by the Lincoln Heritage Council is a fantastic experience for both first and second year Webelos.  A contingent of Pack 868 scouts attended and had a GREAT time.  The camp is held at Tunnel Mill Scout Reservation.  The boys got to swim, shoot BB guns, make some crafts, take hikes, do archery, tie knots, eat in the mess hall, and perform skits during the closing campfire program.  Webelos who attended earned several Activity Pins, learned several silly camp songs, and got to tent camp for 3 nights and 4 days.  The motto of WRC is "Fun! Fun! Fun! At a pace that never stops!"

Jonathan seems to be getting the hang of it.

Jesse (left) and Adam (right) both seem to be doing fine with the backwards crawl on the obstacle course.

Travis leaps like rabbit in the sack race.   Jesse waits for the "go" signal.  Fellow Pack 868 scout Adam is next in line.

Pack 868 scouts and fellow members of the SAFFRON team presented a skit at the closing campfire program.  Scout parent Dawn Salmon-Meredith assisted.
