CHRISTMAS CAROLING  (Saturday, December 22, 2007)

Pack 868's very first service project and very first pack activity coincided with a visit to a local nursing home to do some Christmas Caroling.  Cub Scouts first met at the Community Center to make candle holder table decorations that they later presented to residents at the nursing home as they caroled through the halls.

Den Leader Cheryl Guffey holds the garland as Cub Scout Tre staples it into place.   Dawson staples garland as Mr. Meek holds the base steady.  Tre supervises.

Many of the residents seemed to really enjoy seeing the uniformed Cub Scouts and several told us that had been Scout leaders or that their sons had been scouts.  It was a morning well spent.
