YARD
SALE (Friday~Saturday,
October 9~10, 2009)
One of our annual
fundraising ventures is a two-day indoor Yard Sale. Donations are
collected from both Pack 868 and Troop 868 families. Prices are
low (cheap) and patrons are able to browse in a dry, well lighted,
air-conditioned "showroom." This particular year
yielded donations ranging from lawn mowers to light fixtures, furniture,
several TVs, two dryers, a washing machine, a dishwasher, several nice
executive desks, school desks, hundreds of books, computer equipment,
dozens of video tapes, Christmas decorations, golf clubs, stuffed
animals, toys, and lots of clothing and knick-knacks.
